Monyeka is my creative alias and the brand I'm building.

I’m a first-generation Mexican-American photographer creating portraits that feel elevated but still true to you. My work is relaxed, minimal, and a little dreamy.

I’m especially passionate about working with other first-gen entrepreneurs and creatives. There's something really powerful about helping others feel seen, celebrated, and proud of how far they’ve come. That’s a big part of why I do what I do.

I actually started with photo editing and design. Eventually I picked up a camera because I wanted to create my own work. Editing is still my favorite part, especially seeing your photos go live in the wild after a shoot.

You can usually find me eating Korean food, scrapbooking, or walking my dog, Matcha. I’m always inspired by fashion, and I try to bring that same elevated, minimal feel into every shoot!
