Vibes on Logan – S6, Ep2

It was nearly 100 degrees out, but that didn’t stop anyone from showing up for the second installment of Vibes on Logan this summer. The energy was slower, a little softer than past events—people posted up in the shade, sipped cold drinks, and moved with the heat instead of against it. It felt like exactly what it needed to be.

Guest DJs @dres_roldan, @das_it____, and @hi_ennui kept the vibes flowing all day, with sets that matched the mellow groove of the boulevard. Shoutout to the vendors who held it down in that heat—@up.elevated.cocktails, @sera.chicago, @tsjmexicanfoodtruck, and @yamdini—everyone stayed fed, refreshed, and happy.

Even with sweat and sun everywhere, the portraits from the day still came out beautifully. There’s something special about capturing people just enjoying themselves in real time—laughing in the shade, dancing slow, sharing a drink. It’s not always about a perfect pose. Sometimes the best community photos are the ones that show ease.
